How do you disable notifications in Service Desk?

I'd like to keep the JIRA default notification rules. How do I disable Service Desk notifications?

Hi David, if you are using OnDemand, from your Support Project's Administration section - Under Notifications, set notification scheme to None. This will disable notifications only for Service desk project.
