Send Reminder (Escalation Services) for issues with same value in a Field.

Hello everyone,

I need to set a reminder to be sent for new issues created with the same value in a concrete field as the others.

For example, we have an issue with a certain Serial Number and we need to send reminders if other issues with the same serial number have been created.

Is there any way to set that up as a JQL for the Escalation Services?

Automation for JIRA is probably the easiest way to tackle this.

You would need some form of addon , e.g. automation for Jira, Scriptrunner, etc. the solution would be to trigger on the create and a condition using a JQL to search for existence of another ticket with the same SN.
