I don't understand how can I get the Developer License for my JIRA test environment. In the documentation the following is written: * Log in to your Atlassian account. * Under the "Licenses" heading, all of your licenses will be displayed. Click the plus sign next to a JIRA license to view its details. * Click the 'View Developer License' link in the bottom right corner of the license detail panel, below your commercial license key. But there's no View Developer License' link in the bottom right corner of the license detail panel, below my commercial license key.

Looks like that's the only way for me even though my production JIRA won't be available while testing: (from the documentation) The suggested license to apply to a non-production environment is a Developer License , not an Evaluation license. You should only use an Evaluation license if you don't have a Developer license tied to your main license.

I got it. Well... Not the best news as I work in a small company and we simply don't need to upgrade the license :(

I believe you need to have a paid license first to get a developer license.

My guess is that you are looking at a trial, a free, an academic, a charitable, or $10 starter licence.

Developer licences only exist for Commercial licences at 25 users or above (I think. I'm not 100% sure about the academic or charitable ones)
