Building a filter "Resolved this month" or alike?

G'Day Jira Gurus,

I am using Jira v4.2.2 and wonder if I can build a filter for issues for "This Month" For instance if I can find the issues resolved this month without changing the date ranges or last particular interval. I would like a filter that adjust automatically the current month without me twaking it.

It is not possible in JIRA 4.2. From JIRA 4.3, there is a startOfMonth() function which help you to do this with JQL.

For example:

resolved >= startOfMonth()
