Adding URL to Footer for PDF export

Is there a way to add the URL of a document when exporting it to a PDF?  Basically I am looking to be able to export the documents that I create and drop the URL into the footer, so that the people that use file structures in our department can start slowly migrating to the use of Confluence. 

I am looking for something that is free of course.  I am sure that there is a way to do this, but I am still learning Confluence myself so any help would be appreciated.

Hi @ddimick, with the native Confluence exporter I'm not sure this is possible due to Confluence not rendering dynamic content, such as the Page URL, from the Confluence Admin > PDF Layout page ( a another user had a similar question here). We, K15t, develop Scroll PDF Exporter which allows users to add placeholders to reference content in their generated exports and this includes a placeholder for the Document URL. I know you mentioned you are searching for a free way to achieve this but in case this changes you can read more about the available placeholders that you can include in your exports with our app here.
