Access to Content through API

Hello,

 

I am currently trying to GET content through the Confluence Server API, but can't seem to get any information from the API requests I am making. The account I am using has read and write access and the content exists in Confluence, but I am getting a 404 not found error saying that there isn't content with the specified id. 

Any advice?

Hi @Julia ,

It sounds like an authentication error, are you sending any auth credentials with your request? If not, the simplest way to test this is by sending the username/password as basic auth. The REST API examples use basic auth if you would like to see how to do this.
