How to make custom field editable for some users or group

Hi @Piyush saxena ,

the easiest way is probably to

* remove the custom field from the default edit screen
* add a global reflexive transition (from any status to itself)
* add the custom field to the transition screen
* add a condition to this transition so that it can only be executed by the users or group of interest

it is not possible by default without 3rd party app. I always solve this situation by disabling native Edit (remove edit permission in the project) and adding new Edit transition which is allowed (by implementing condition) to required users.

If this solution is not good enough,I remember we were using following app in the past
