recommended server hardware for whole #!

Question

Hi,

I am considering to give the atlassian software "suite" a try. If I would like to test the combination of Bitbucket, Jira, Bamboo and Confluence on a self-managed server, what would be the hardware requirement for a small team (5 developers, 2 managers/controllers, 3 projects, 4 CI-jobs, 1 Wiki)?

It depends a bit on where the builds will occur and how much horsepower a build will require.  Assuming you're running Jira, Confluence and Bamboo on one box and kicking off builds somewhere else, I think you should be able to start with 4 CPUs, 16GB of memory and 100GB of storage (set up the application home directories on a volume of this size.) That should give you enough headroom for a while.
