How to find the Confluence pages which use specific plugin?

YJ Huang

I use Confluence 7.5.2 and installed a Confluence plugin, but now I need to disable it.

This may cause the content created with the plugin display abnormal.

So I must find out the Confluence pages which use the specific Confluence plugin.

Is there any way to find out the pages?

Hi @YJ Huang

If the plugin creates macros, then you can use the Marco Usage section in the admin menu to get a report on what macros are used where. See: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-get-a-list-of-the-most-popular-macros-used-in-confluence-353764197.html

No. Well, maybe.

If the plugin provides content type things (most likely to be macros), then you can look for where those content items have been used, either with search or the admin's "macro usage" function.

If it provides other functions, no, because those are not tied to pages.

Macro Usgae - menu.jpg The SQL (approach in the above link) to get the macro usage is useful as well if we are to assess from time to time.

The macro usage only covers apps that provide macros. It will not help you with all the other apps.

Yes, Is there a way (SQL approach) to get the dependency on addons?
