Extract the month from Due Date field and set it as Target month field

Hello, Is it possible to extract the month and year information from Due date field and set it automatically on a newly created field (say Roadmap Target month) so that everytime the Jira issue is created, automatically the Roadmap target month field is updated automatically from the due date set

You can do that, but you will have to use a 3rd party plugin to code it.
