how to get rid of horizontal scrollbar when using add section in Page Layout in Confluence

1) I am creating a template

2) My page has an html image, a css stylesheet, and 2 columns in the system space

3) In the Template editor I have
i) included the page (point 2)

ii) added a Div  for typing text directly into the banner as a topic heading (this is the css in point 2)

iii) 2 columns - so staff can add the published date of doc & the date

iv) New page layout - this where i get the horizontal scrollbar.

If I delete this - the horizontal scrollbar disappears. 

 

This section is important as staff will be adding their content.

Can anyone help please.

Hi 

Managed to solve it.

It happens sometimes when you use {include page} macro and then add a page layout section. 

To resolve:

1) Place the {include page} macro inside a {Div}

2) add the style  max-width: 100%;   overflow-x: hidden; to the div
