Missing feature ?

Question

I tested Confluence Cloud, to make sure it fits our needs. Then I bought server license, and now I see there's no way to upload images from camera as a comment on server mobile app.

Is it true, or am I missing something?

This is a must-have feature for me :(

Hello @pawel-kowalski ,

I am sorry! I mixed up Confluence with Jira. Unfortunately I am not aware of any other app for Confluence :(

Confluence works fine for me in mobile browser though and you can also add attachments there. So maybe that would be the only option.

Sorry I was not able to help you more.

Hi @Adam Rypel _MoroSystems_ ,

It still doesn't allow me to send images from mobile app to Confluence article. Using Mobile for Jira I can upload images to Jira Issues/Tasks only :(

Best regards,

Paweł

Hello @pawel-kowalski ,

yes, unfortunately this feature is not available in server app and it seems it won't be implemented in the near future - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-33130, as it is resolved as Won't Do.

You can try some plugin, which supports this feature though. For example Mobile for Jira - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214475/mobile-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview. We use this one and it works pretty nice.

Sorry I did not have better news.

Regards,

Adam
