How can I share my certification on LinkedIn?

I passed ACP-600 yesterday and want to add this to my certifications section on LinkedIn. Unfortunately, using the obvious sharing options, LinkedIn only accepts a URL, and the certificate is a PDF. I can't find another option, but I'm assuming this has been solved.

I did try to find an answer in LinkedIn's help as well as checking other sources, but I can't find anything.

Add your Certifications to your accomplishments in LinkedIn

Sharing your digital badge to LinkedIn (described above) will add it to your activity stream, but not to your profile. Most people will also want to display their Certifications as accomplishments in their profile.

Sign on to LinkedIn.
Follow the steps shown under Managing Certifications: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/44644?query=certifications

Hi , thanks. All I have is a PDF of the cert, nothing that I can share. Linkedin needs a URL. I am facing the same issue with a Tricentis cert.

Hi @Rob Horan, Congratulations on passing ACP-600!

You can copy the URL to your Atlassian certificate from this page https://www.certmetrics.com/atlassian/candidate/badge_list.aspx . The link usually appears two days after passing the exam. You can paste the URL in the 'Credential URL' field under the 'Licenses & Certifications' section on LinkedIn.

You can also upload the PDF certificate as a post on LinkedIn and then select that post to show up under the 'Featured' section so that it shows up at the top of your profile.

I hope you are able to add it under both the 'Featured' and 'Licenses & Certifications' sections. Please vote for this answer if it works for you. Thank you!

Thanks - I'd prefer to not use the featured section as that's not the intent of that section. I want to keep information compartmentalized - that's the idea behind specific sections. I will look for the link in the list. Thank you!

Unfortunately this still leaves the Tricentis certificate out.

I have accomplished APB-110 (Badge, Advanced Workflows) ,

I have the same issue: I do not have neither a URL to my certification nor a pdf version.

So I have no possibility to upload this accomplishment to my linked in profile.

Is there a support team at certmetrics?

The popup with badges is not fully displayed and the shared links are not visible:

when you zoom out, you find the links beneath:

It might be because of the cache!

You can clear the cache and data from your browser and re-login to your account!

Raise your visibility and attract career opportunities by sharing your Credentials to LinkedIn

Digital badges represent your credentials online; when viewers click the badge icon, it links directly to the Atlassian Certification database, and a Verification window pops up with details of your credential.

Step 1: Enable digital badging and get your unique URL

Log in to the Atlassian Certification Portal.
Select Digital Badges and follow the instructions to enable badging.
Click any of your Active Badges to view the badge details in the Verification window.
Click the 'link' icon at the bottom of the Verification window to get the unique URL to your credential.
While you're here, you can click other icons to share to Facebook, Twitter, or your LinkedIn activity stream. (This will not add Certifications to your LinkedIn profile -- follow step 2 below to do that.)

Step 2: Add to your LinkedIn Profile>Accomplishments>Certifications

Click the button and populate the LinkedIn template with the information shown below:

Certification Name: (Get the formal credential name from your Verification Window)
Authority: Start typing "Atlassian" until it becomes selectable.
License Number: Leave empty.
From Month and Year: Get this from your Verification Window
To Month and Year: Get this from your Verification Window)
Leave the 'Does Not Expire' box empty.
URL: Paste in the URL for your verification window.

Everyone should be getting an email with this information whenever you pass an exam. The subject line is "Share your Atlassian credentials online!".
