Cant login as a administrator after DB Restore

we had to restore the jira with a back up DB now no one can login and on the login page i see "Please request a 30-day Jira evaluation license online today." i checked we have valid license.

 

Environment : Test Jira

 

Before the DB restore i used configuration manager for jira to import a project from PROD. After that application was showing intermittent slowness. I did a application restore from previous day back up and then cant access the application itself. No login page nothing.

 

So we thought we had to do a DB restore to fix the things. we did a DB restore from a copy of few days earlier. Now i can see the dashboard but none of us can login. It says "sorry username or password are incorrect -- Please try again". I used the same credentials for PROD its working fine. Cant seem to login to test jira.  Please help

You can try and restore the admin account using these instructions, Restore Passwords To Recover Admin User Rights.

What you have to do is:

1. Stop Jira
2. Add -Datlassian.recovery.password=<your-password> to <installation-directory>/bin/setenv.sh or setenv.bat
3. Start up Jira again
4. Login as recovery_admin and the password you set in the setenv file.
5. Reset the password for you admin account and verify that you can log in
6. Stop Jira and remove the recovery.password property added in step 2
7. Restart Jira
