how to add plugin logging to Logging and Profiling permanenently

Hi All,

I have a plugin for which I need to add the logging to 'Logging and Profiling' Screen permanently. I know we can add it manually our package 'com.yourcompany.plugin".

I tried to implement  LifecycleAware to try to do it on startup but I couldn't find the package to do it.

how to add your plugin’s log to a separate log file inside the project.

Thanks for reaching out and to permanently add in a logging package you can do so by modifying the web.xml file as detailed in the "Logging and profiling" documentation under the section:

• permanently — your change to the logging level will persist, even after you restart Jira.
