Add read privileges to a concrete group to any new space

Hi,

We have working with Confluence Server 6.4.3 and we want, automatically, grant read privileges to a group of users for any existing or new space.

The only way we have seen to do this is granting the privilege "system administrator" to this group in the global permissions configuration, but we don't want to do this. The group of users I'm talking about is the higher management group in the company: They must see everything and we don't want to add them manually to any space nor to add them to system administrators.

There is any way to do this? Regards,

Hi,

I Think this should be possible by using the default space permissions.

If you add that group there, the group should be added to all nee spaces.

You will need to write some code for this, either as an app, or using a scripting app.

Your code will need to consider new and existing spaces, and probably look at page restrictions as well.
