JQL Query to filter test cases with execution date

Question

HI, I am looking for a JQL which will filter all test cases executed during a particular period. For example, I want to get the list of test cases executed between 1st March 2020 to 31st March 2020.

I'm using X-Ray and version of JIRA I am not sure. I can see Started On & Finished on fields inside a test case but couldn't find those fields while creating a JQL. Can anyone please help.

Hi @John,  @YARON LEVY ,

while there is this improvement in Xray's backlog (XRAY-2552), what you can do meanwhile is to use the Test Run List gadget and use the date filter. It's not a perfect solution but it may be a workaround for the time being depending exactly on your needs.

Hi @John

The information you want, (started date/finish date) belongs to the Test Run and as the Test Run is not an issue type of Jira, currently this is not searchable using a JQL and return this info on the results returned. We have this Suggestion already reported XRAY-2552.
Please vote so we can keep track of your interest and Watch to receive news on the Suggestion.

For now, the best way to get these details is by using the Test Runs Report. You can search for all the Test Runs for a given Test Execution and from there check all the information related.
