How to force a user to complete a Comment when setting the "Fix Version"

Question

Hello,

I am new with Jira, can anybody help me with the next questions; is there some tool that works with Jira or is Jira able to perform the next:

1. When posting a bug to be prompted to set an "Affceted Version" (so this field should be mandatory in order to create a bug)

2. When fixing a bug to be prompted to set up "Comment" and a "Fix Version" in order to set the bug as "Resolved"(also this should be mandatory).

The jira misc workflow plugin has a validator to make your comment field mandatory.

1. Yes you can set the field as a required field in your project's field configuration. Read

2. In your workflow, you can make the fix version field as a required field. You will need to use the Fields Required Validator available in the Jira Suite Utilities plugin.

Not sure about the comment but I remember seeing this possibility in behaviours plugin or script runner plugin. Will get back to you on this.
