Database compatibility

Hi,

I'm installing jira software on self managed debian 10 server.

I'm triyng to configure jira with postgresql database server.  I've tested with version 11 and 12 and ever I get the error database incompatilbility. What can I do to resolve this issue?

@Alexis Robert any idea if this would still work fine?

We are on Jira 8.5.1 on SQL Server 2014, and we are looking to upgrade to the latest Jira.  The latest Jira does not support SQL Server 2014, so we are looking to migrate to a different database before upgrading.  We were looking to target Postgres 11, but after doing a test database migration, it seemed to migrate fine, but I have the same warning as above.

Hi @Eduard Lecha Puig ,

this might be because you're using Jira 8.5 for example : on this version, it's compatible with PostreSQL 10 as you can see in the documentation here https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver085/supported-platforms-981154553.html

The error is database not compatible. I use postgresql 11
