REST API Create Space with Permission

I'm sorry, I have got a question

If I don't missunderstand this documentation it is supported to create a space and set permissions to users and group at the creation of the space. I tried to add a group in the permissions-array which should be able to read, but I didn't get to work it out. I'm using postman. If I understand things right, every permission is a pair of a resource, in my case group, and operations which i should give into another array.  Someone here who got this to work out?

My Confluence-Version is 7.3.1

I assuming you are on confluence server, is that correct? 

Your linked documentation is the API for confluence cloud. Here is the API for confluence server. In this list I found, that it is possible to create a new space. But you arn't able to set space permissions. There is an open feature request.
