I am experimenting with batched notifications. On a plain Jira instance with almost no customization it works - perfect.
On another instance we rely heavily on handcrafted velocity templates which are wired to custom events in several workflows and notification schemes.
Basic question: are they supposed to work when batched notifications are switched on (first tests seem to show this is not the case...)?
Goal would be to have
- the nice feature of batching for Issue Created, Issue Updates, ... events
- and the heritage way of delivering mails with our existing velocity templates using custom events same time.
I read through https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/customizing-email-content-batched-notifications-976770772.html but could not find a definitive answer on this specific mix.
