condition on transition is not working in Jira using Scriptrunner script

Trying to put condition on "Resolved" transition on parent in workflow.

Resolved is allowed only if
1. children subtask type= bug and children status =Verified
or
2. any subtask type and children status = Resolved

def passesCondition = true
def subTasks = issue.getSubTaskObjects()
subTasks.each {
if (it.issueTypeObject.name == "Bug") {
if (it.statusObject.name != "Verified")
passesCondition = false
} else {
if (it.statusObject.name != "Resolved")
passesCondition = false
}
}

It noted on script that syntaxes are deprecated. Not sure what are syntaxes.

Additionally, will this work under Workflow condition or I need to call scriptrunner listener?

We are on Jira 7.011 and Scriptrunner 5.1.6.2

Tried suggeste issue.getStatus(), but it does not seem to be working.

I would appreciate your suggestions.

Dear @helen levich

What i understand you need to add condition on transition.

Open Workflow -> Add new condition >Script Condition [ScriptRunner] > Allows the transition if this query matches a JQL query.

and put your JQL as condition and good luck.

Or used defernt way.

Open Workflow -> Add new condition >Sub-Task Blocking Condition

And put the sub-task statues required to allow parent issue transition.

I believe the problem is mainly in the first row - keyword def should be removed.

So instead of:

def passesCondition = true

use:

passesCondition = true

The errors you got mean, that you use deprecated methods (those, which are not supported anymore and probably will be removed in the future, but so far they work - I've changed your code a little bit to be able to use in the newer versions of Jira)

passesCondition = true
def subTasks = issue.getSubTaskObjects()
subTasks.each {
    if (it.getIssueType().getName() == "Bug") {
        if (it.getStatus().getName() != "Verified") {
            passesCondition = false
        }
    } else {
        if (it.getStatus().getName() != "Resolved") {
            passesCondition = false

Insert this code in the condition: Script Condition [ScriptRunner] -> Custom script condition

Thank you for suggestion, great help. Your suggestion helped. Script does not give any errors, but still does not work. Nothing is happen.

So, i'm trying to make issue get resolved only if bug is verified or any other type of sub-tasks are resolved. Maybe something wrong with logic? Not sure, but nothing happens.

Hi @helen levich ,

please check:

is the code really inserted to your workflow as a Custom script condition? In the provided picture I can see text Simple scripted condition.
was the first row of the script changed? There should be no word def (passesCondition is already in the binding, you don't have to declare it)

The result should be, that the Resolved transition will be available only if all the bugs are in the status Verified and the other subtasks are in the status Resolved (or there are no subtasks at all) - so basically if all the subtasks are resolved, which makes sense to me.

In concern with Custom script condition, I don't see it to be available on the list of options. Am I in a wrong place?
