Can't Push - SSH error

I have created a private / public key pair

I saved the private key on my pc

I added the public key to Bitbucket

I am getting :

 

$ git push -u origin master
Warning: Permanently added the RSA host key for IP address 'xxxxx' to the list of known hosts.
git@bitbucket.org: Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

 

The repo does exist - so why isn't the SSH pair working?

 

Any ideas?

i would check  the key folder permissions and ssh eval stuff

ssh directory permissions should be 700 (drwx------).

The public key (. pub file) should be 644 (-rw-r--r--).

The private key (id_rsa) on the client host, and the

authorized_keys file on the server, should be 600 (-rw-------).

also try this  stuff --> eval `ssh-agent`
