Sub-Task fix version clone to the parent task

Dear All,

 

When an issue is created, the Fix Version field is set to a particular value (say 2.0). Then subtasks are created, and they inherit this value. So far so good.

But if later, when  Fix Version value is modified (to say 3.0) in subtasks and parent task still keep the 2.0 fix version value.

Is there a plugin or technique I can use to keep these fields in sync? 

My goal is to introduce the role where fix version in parent task will change automatically when subtask fix version is changing.

You can use the issue field changed jira automation.  Take a look at this video link: https://youtu.be/DcPYrw-Puus

Look at the second rule, but you will have to reverse the brach to occur in the parent issue type instead.
