Hi guys, I want for a specific component to be automatically assigned depending on what the user chooses from a custom dropdown field during ticket creation.
Does anyone know if that is possible?

It’s possible but will take some development. Are you familiar with scriptrunner?
https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/index.htmlI’m curious though why you wouldn’t just have the ticket creator just set the component directly? That’s out of the box functionality and would a whole lot less work to get set up.
