How to auto send email to project role when assign issue to a group's user

As the title says. I want to achieve that when I assign a issue to a group's user, then his leader (in a project role) will receive a email.
How to do that?

Hi Xinan,

You can do this through some custom groovy scripting using Script Runner plugin.

But if you don't want to go for scripting and open to use component then here is what you can do to achieve this

• Create components according to your project
• Select appropriate component lead 
•  Ask user to select appropriate component while creating the issue.
• On Project notification scheme add component lead when issue is assigned.
• Now once issue is assigned, then respective component lead will be notified.
