How do you run custom code at page startup?

On my main Confluence page I'd like a big red banner that states "Website www.xyz.com is down!" whenever that site is down. Is there a built in way to do this, or is there a way to run a block of HTML code that could check this? I don't want the banner to appear if the website is available.

@David HuntThere is no default way of doing this. But you can customize look and feel of page header section in Confluence.

So I would suggest you to add empty `div` as a placeholder and a custom JS, that verify if the site is UP and in case site is down, insert some text in div.
