Restrict Ability to Move Issues from Columns in Kanban Board

Question

Background: We have implemented a "Planning" Kanban Board in one of our Project that has Columns & Statuses like "Business Review", "IT Review", "Prioritization", "Development", "QA", "UAT" & "Prod" in that order!

We have mandatory fields "Business Owner", "IT Owner" for all Issue Types that has to be populated from Create Issue Form.

Requirement: No other users apart from the designated "Business Owner" should have the visibility to move from "Business Review" -> "ISS Review" and likewise no other users should have the ability to move Issues to "Prioritization" and then to "Development" apart from the designated "IT Owner". Likewise only Developer User Roles should have access to move to "QA" and so on....

Question: How can we achieve this?

you should edit the workflow and add a Condition on each Transition where you want to restrict the ability to transition an issue. The condition to use is - User in Group. There are other Conditions you can consider but that is what I would recommend. You will need to create the special permissions group prior of course.
