Is there a way to hide older comments in issues in Jira for a particular project?

Question

I want to hide comments for all issues in a particular project that were added before a certain date.  Is there a script or another way to enable this functionality?

Thanks, Jack.  I haven't found anything either.

Hi Bill, there is no way to do this OOTB AFAIK. By default Jira does hide comments once the history become too long. There may be some addon for this but I have never search for such.
