Localhost:8090 no longer available

Hi!

I installed Confluence Server yesterday and everything was fine.

After shutdown, I powered up the pc again today and I cannot reach the localhost:8090.

The Atlassian service starts and then stops automatically, I checked everything and I did not see anything.

I replicated on a VM and the same happens. It is like after restarting the PC the service is no longer working properly.

Do you know if there is another service that must be running?

Why don't you check the log while starting Confluence ?

catalina.out could guide you from where to start when it comes to errors.

Did you install Confluence as a service?

After restarting the server or VM, do you see any java process running for the confluence user?
