Pie chart gadget does not support Checklist field type?

I am playing around with the field type Checklist (which is provided by the add-on Checklist for Jira).

I added a new field of this type and set a value for it in an issue.

However, when I add a new pie chart gadget to a dashboard, this field is not listed in the drop-down for Statistic Type.

Seems like a bug to me...Anyone?

Using Jira 8.3.0, add-on version is 4.1.1

Hi,

This is not really a bug. The pie chart gadget relies on simple fields (text, integer, etc) to create the slices. Checklist being a complex data structure, it has no ideas on how to interpret it so it doesn't show it.

You don't mention how you wanted the pie to be sliced but that would most likely require a special gadget specifically written for Checklist.
