Gitlab Integration - Transition doesn't work

Bruno Ornelas

I have a gitlab repository and I've properly integrated with Jira. Every time I commit mentioning the Issue Id, I can see a comment inside the issue as below:

Although I can see this comment, the issue doesn't go to "done" status. Also no time is logged at all.

My user email in git config is the same as Jira's and I have admin role on this project.

Hi @Bruno Ornelas ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There are different ways to integrate Jira with GitLab and I am not sure which one you are using since this can make some difference. Can you kindly provide more details or just a link to the instructions you have followed to set the integration?

Also, just by searching a bit around, I have found the below links that you might find useful to solve your issue:

• https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-foss/issues/57902#note_151804871

You may want to review above links and, in case they don't help, provide more details on the kind of integration used.

Cheers,
Dario
