Our users like to use '@mentions a lot, but @ notation does not work in all custom fields.
Custom fields user Wiki Style Renderer and [~mention] works ok, but is harder to use than @user1603166931620 as need to remember username exactly correct.
Is there way to get '@ notation working in custom fields ?
Hi @Renni Verho
There is a suggestion for this requirement. Take a look at this and vote: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-32563
Yes it is a bit annoying and you will have to ask the users to use [~mention]. Probably add a description in the field to make user aware about this.
I hope it was helpful.
Thanks,
Ravi
Thanks about info and link.
Users are using [~mention] already and complaining about it.
Ill write instructions to use add button it that helps - even they are too used to use @-notation.
thanks,
Renni
