Create an issue that would auto-generate sub-tasks to a specific list of people

Hello all,

Is it possible to open a Ticket that would automatically generate a sub-task to each individual from a specific group?

We have 3 unique groups of people and based on some dedicated field (e.g. Project or Issue Type) we need to determine which pre-defined group the sub-tasks would be generated and assigned.

Sub-tasks need to be generated and assigned to each individual from the specific group.

Not OOTB. You will need some form of automation, e.g. Automation for Jira, Scriptrunner, Power Scripts, Drag and drop from Bob Swift, etc.

I have set this up using scriptrunner. I created a project for when a client drops our company's product. The master ticket immediately creates a few tickets to different teams (DBA team, SRE team, platform team, etc.) and then is setup with a time delay (based on when the contract actually ends) to create tickets in a couple other projects (a client support ticket to disable end user accounts, a ticket for our FTP team to remove that client's access, etc.). All of the tickets are linked, and the master ticket is automatically closed once all of the linked tickets are closed.
