go to project settings and remove the field from all the screens
You can’t delete the field. However you can hide it or remove it from all screens.

Built in fields can show up even if they aren't on a screen.
The only option is to go into the field configuration and hide it.
You will need to make a new field configuration, and then a field configuration scheme to use it, and then set your project to use that field configuration scheme.
