Does cycle time of an issue reset if a story moves from 'in progress' back to 'to-do?'

One of our stories got picked up and started, the story was moved to 'in progress.' The story got de-prioritized and moved to the backlog so this was still 'to-do'

How would this impact the cycle time?

We also need a way to reset the cycle time for some issues where the cycle started accidentally. How can we reset the cycle time clock for an issue?

Also does putting a story on hold stop the clock for cycle time calculation?
