JIRA xls export: add timestamp for initial transition change - how to?

Hi Everyone,

when exporting data from JIRA ( via Excel all fields), I'd like to have the timestamp information added for the first transition change. e.g.

- transition to "in progress" for incidents

- transition to "Clarification"

etc

Is this possible?

Hi,

What you need to do is to add a custom field of type Date or Date Time and then set this field using a workflow post function "set custom field value" with the current timestamp at the desired transtion.

You can do it using:

After this is setup, you can add the custom field to the exported fields
