The current URL doesn't look very nice. Same with the tiny link.
Is it possible to change the URL of a space or the last part of it? The base/dashboard URL is completely different.

welcome to the community.
The core functionality of confluence does not support that, but you could check if
using a kind of url rewrite solution could fit your needs. Apache and nginx both support url rewriting so that could be an option.
