SSO and public repos

Hi,

We know that Bitbucket does not log you in automatically with public repos.  But we observed some users get logged out from bitbucket often.  These users use public repos as well as private repos.  They may leave their browsers open all day while they work.  They have noticed that a few times a day, stash will log them out.  Is that because they have public repos opened in their browsers?

Hi there,

This is most likely happening because their session is timing out. By default, the time out session is set to 30 minutes, you can check that in the file web.xml. If you'd like you can change it as explained at How do I change the default session timeout?
