how to kill re-indexing

Hey

I am trying to perform lock jira and reindex on jira6.1

However, the reindex seems to have stuck at 0% for the last 15 min.

How do i kill this re-index?

Bad idea, because if you stop it, y will have no index, and will need to restart it anyway. If you really do think or had died, then restarting Jira is the way to go, followed by another reindex...

thanks Nic, that helps. I restarted application, deleted cache folder and did a fresh re-index and it worked.
