How to change MAIN branch in BitBucket using API

i change main branch  select branch>> setting>>main Branch >> select an other branch but using api i cant change main branch

Are you using Bitbucket Server or Cloud?

Can you give us more detail about the HTTP request you're making? Ideally as a curl command so we can try to reproduce it?
