How can i reduce the import duration

It takes a lot of time to import issues via à csv file in my instance (700 issue in 1 hour )

I believe, this depends on:

* Size (RAM) of your instance,
* How much memory has been allocated to JIRA
* And at what time of the day are you importing the issues. During the day, import would be slow as lot of users would be accessing the JIRA application, right?
* Also, the issues that are being imported, how frequently do you import them? Are there any conditions, validations or post-functions in the workflow for this issue type?

There are lot of factors to be considered and analyzed in order to improve the import speed.
