How to create a field for "last comment date"?

Hello, 

 

We're running Jira onprem and wanted to know if it's possible to create a custom field to display the "last comment date" value? I saw some answers using scriptrunner but before I added another add-on I wanted to know if anything can be done with the default tools.

Hello,

You can not do it out of the box. You would need an app like Power Custom Fields or ScriptRunner.

If you want to use the Power Custom Field app, you could create your own custom field with a code like this:

return getLastComment(key).created;
