Confluence service-specific error code 4.

I upgraded Confluence from 6.5.0 to 6.15.7 on my test environment. 

Removed windows service and installed as said in documentation. 

Unfortunately, the confluence "windows service" is not starting.  it says Windows could not start the Atlassian confluence on local computer. "service specific error code 4. 

Can you help me to fix this?

Congratulations on making the upgrade within your test environment. The error you’re having is referenced within a Knowledgebase article. Within this article is discussing the resolution as follows:

Resolution

1. Remove the service with the command "service.bat remove Confluence"
2. Open the Command Prompt console as an Administrator
3. Follow the instructions to install Confluence as Windows service
