Syncing a fork repo in BitBucket Cloud with a repo on BitBucket Server

We have a Bitbucket server repository that is synced with our CI tooling. 

All active development will now take place on a mirrored repository on Bitbucket cloud.

Is it possible to sync these two repositories as mentioned in the documentation on Keeping forks synchronized? I have been able to successfully fork with the sync forward feature enabled to a private repository in the same BitBucket server. However, the repository that we need to fork to is on BitBucket cloud.

We would love to figure out a way for BitBucket to help keep these two in sync.

Hello @Zachary Hughes,

Unfortunately automatic forks synchronization is only possible within a single instance of Bitbucket Server or within Bitbucket Cloud, but not between them.

There might be a way to set this up using third-party plugins: for instance, here's what I found.
