Confluence: story points don't show up in the "display options" dropdown of a Jira Chart

Im trying to create a jira chart in confluence but want to pull data on the number of story points in various statuses (as opposed to just the number of issues) across projects 

I have the JQL and it works fine in Jira. When I use the JQL in confluence I can see all the issues but don't have a way to display the story points or use them as the x-y axis in the Jira two dimensional chart 

 

Are story points not accessible in Jira chart from confluence ?

The only fields that would appear in the Jira Chart macro for pie charts, two-dimensional charts, etc. are fields which have pre-defined values (i.e. single-select, multi-select, checkboxes, etc.). The Story Points field can have literally any number input into them, so they aren't available for putting into the Jira Chart macro. The same can be said for gadgets in Jira dashboards.

Instead, you'd probably need a tool like eazyBI, or you would need to export the Jira data to CSV and manipulate/report on the data in Excel or Google Sheets.
