Is there a way to hide existing documents in Confluence?

Dawnn Burrell

We have some documents that are out dated in our Confluence pages, that we would like to temporary hide them. Is there a way to do this.

Thanks much.

Dear @Dawnn Burrell ,

you could

a) move this pages to another space, where only admins have access

b) restrict the pages viewing

If you mean to hide just attachments of one page, this won't work. Either the entire page or nothing.

Hi Thomas:

Thanks for replying to me.

Where can I get the instructions for "a" and "b" (restrict the pages viewing)?

Thanks much.

for a) this is simple.

create a new space and be sure only you or any other admin can access
go to the page to hide
click on the 3 dots in the upper right page view
"move" - > select the new space

for b): Page Restrictions

Hi Thomas:

Thanks for your help. I used Option B Page Restrictions and it worked.

Thanks again.
