Edit attachments

I loaded attachments to the confluence page. This is .xlsx file. When i whant to edit its, i have not problem. Microsoft Exel is opened and i can edit and update file. But another users in our organisations can not. Wnen they press edit the message appears : Download the Atlassian Companion app ......

Hi Lena,

To edit files, you'll need to install the Atlassian Companion app and allow it to connect to your Confluence site. Once the Companion app is installed and running, you can start editing.

Please check if the other user is trying to edit the file from a system where Companion app is installed already. Moreover, To edit a file you'll need the 'Add Attachments' space permission.
