Create blog post from template via link or button?

We are using the Templates for Blogposts addon. Now we would like to enable users to create a blog from a template using a button or link, just like it can be done with the native macro "Create from Template" for pages.

This macro would always create a page though. Can anybody help me to create the necessary URL I would need to use for the link or button?

In the Confluence URL list I found this entry for creating a page from template:

<confluence-url>/pages/createpage-choosetemplate.action?spaceKey=<spaceKey>&newspaceKey=<spaceKey>&fromPageId=<pageId>

Does anybody know if this is possible for blogs, too?

Thanks to the superb support I got a reply directly from the App maker. There comes a macro "Create blog post from template" with the addon which I was not aware of

This process, from this other post, worked for me:

If you want to try, replace the CAPS text in the steps below with your own values

1. Went to my personal space overview:
     https://SITE_NAME.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/~SPACE_NUMBER/overview
2. Copy SPACE_NUMBER to the clipboard.
3. Delete everything starting with /spaces to the end of the url.
4. Replace what you deleted with /pages/createblogpost.action?spaceKey=SPACE_NUMBER

That new URL can now be bookmarked as a "Create new blog post" shortcut.
