Is the new issue view really by project?

Is the new jira issue view really a by project thing? I have a ton of projects and to make them the same I have to edit each and every one?

HI Shelly,

The "New Issue View" is on by default and the only option for any Next-gen project, but is a profile configuration setting for classic projects.  To enable the new issue view globally for classic projects, you can select your profile image > Personal settings:

Then flag the "New Jira issue view" as enabled under the Jira Labs section of the user profile.
